After 103 days in the NICU, Navy Rose had a fun-filled day of firsts.
- First time outside, thus first time getting baby sweat on the back, neck, and bum.
- First spit up in her car seat – within two minutes of being buckled while still in the NICU.
- First car ride.
- First time taking exit 349 to North Ogden, home.
- First time listening to Daddy’s music, COIN
- First time being the Grand Marshal of a parade.
- First time meeting the many hearts who have loved unconditionally and the hands who have prayed diligently from the start.
- First blowout on Dad.
- First time meeting Maggie, the original baby girl.
- First time seeing Jenga and other card games as Kai couldn’t wait any longer to play games with his baby sister.
- First super short, definitely not interested, crying a lot so take her out and call it good bath at home.
- First time sleeping in her crib in her room under her mural.
- First midnight NG Tube replacement at the hands of Mom and Dad coinciding with the first time troubleshooting the oxygen alarm, too.
